Dear Parents and Guardians,
Good afternoon! Warm weather and sunshine is always a plus, and we were all happy to have bright and sunny days upon our return from spring break! We hope you all had a wonderful week!
A few items for consideration as we move forward:
1. Please make note that Wednesday, April 28th is the last day to inform the office if you wish to have your child return to in person learning for a May 3rd start. There will be no May date to opt your child in for a June start.
2. Please be sure that when returning chromebooks to the tech department, they are sanitized thoroughly and delivered to the school in a plastic bag.
3. As we wrap up our first week of mandatory afternoon sessions, please be reminded that your child should be attending first, their assigned academic subject area, followed by an aligned special area subject. The students can attend the aligned special subject area if currently enrolled in the class or not. Also, please note that Wednesdays have no core subject area, however, teacher office hours are available, and some students may be pulled during that time for individual meets regarding their previously developed MAP plans.
As we continue to plan for the remaining weeks of the school year, and beyond into the summer, our focus remains on the academic and social emotional well being and advancement of our students despite our circumstances. As always, we appreciate your work with your children, your perspective on their experience, and your insight on how to help in their growth.
Have a great weekend!
Be well,
Mr. Veit
