Weekly Update from Mr. Veit

Good afternoon! We hope this message finds you all healthy and well!

With the news that the dates for student return to Hybrid learning have been set for February 1st (Pre K and identified "C" group students) and February 8th (K-8 students) we can finally see the light at the end of this long tunnel, and we look forward to re-acclimating the students to in person learning on their specific days, while also continuing to address the needs of those whom are remote on their specific days, and those remaining entirely remote.

Our hope is that by the time students arrive, transmission will be reduced, restrictions will be lighter, and we will be able to provide a more personal experience for our students on their in person days.

In the meantime, in order to begin to prepare for February 1st, and the arrival of identified "C" group students, we ask all former "C" group parents to please look in Genesis to see what set of days (Monday/Tuesday or Thursday/Friday) your child has been assigned to.  It is important to remember that as per the "orange" transmission level safety procedures, not all students previously in the "C" group will be attending during the week of February 1st.    Case managers will be in touch if your child has been identified to return on the 1st.

In the Friday, January 29th weekly recap, I will be sharing information related to the reopen. Some of the information will be refresher information related to, for example, entry and dismissal, while other information will outline more specifically what class will look like for students on their in person days.

As always, we appreciate your support and patience. We look forward to taking his next step towards normalcy with our Joyce Kilmer, and Milltown family members.
