Weekly Update from Mr. Veit

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Happy Halloween! We hope all the little creatures in your lives have a wonderful and safe day tomorrow!

As always, we hope this finds you all healthy and well! Below are news and notes for the upcoming month!

1. We will be distributing a new calendar for November early next week. The calendar will be exactly like the October calendar, and it will indicate the daily early release schedule, and the Thanksgiving holiday.

2. Due to Election Day and Teachers Convention, next week, we will be closed on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Grades 4-8 "A" and "C" students will be in on Monday, and grades 4 -8 "B" and "C" students will be in on Wednesday. Please refer to the previously distributed October (early November) schedule as this information is available there.

3. We look forward to finally welcoming back our middle school students to hybrid learning! Please find the attached map that indicates the proper entrances and exits for Middle School students. As always, we appreciate you all maintaining social distance, and wearing your masks when dropping off and picking up your children.

4. As we continue to monitor and adjust our instructional practices, it is important for me to share that I am in receipt of all of your feedback. We appreciate, and are fueled by the positive remarks, and we remain committed to addressing the areas of concern you bring to me, and the teachers.

Thank you all for your partnership and support. We continue to press on as a JK and MIlltown family, and we continue to do so together. As always, we recognize and sympathize with the struggles we are sharing as we too are concerned parents as well as educators. We are happy to continue to attack this challenge with you!

Be well,
Mr. Veit
