I am a very proud graduate of Parkview School, Joyce Kilmer School, and Spotswood High School.  My bachelor's degree and teaching certification are from The College of New Jersey.   I have a Master's degree in teaching English as a Second Language and I am highly qualified to teach middle school language arts, grades 6-8.

I am currently enrolled in the NJEXCEL program which is a program for certification as a leader in NJ schools.

I started my career right here in Milltown in 2007 as an Instructional Aide in a first grade classroom.  After one year I was hired as a third grade teacher for the next 2 years.  Due to cuts in teachers, I taught kindergarten for the 2010-11 school year.  I was placed back in third grade after that year.  I then taught third grade for another 3 years, 2011-14.  I taught 5th grade for two years followed by my current position as Basic Skills support teacher for 4th and 5th grades.

My family moved to Milltown when I was in second grade and I've never called home anywhere else.  I live right here in town with my husband, three children, and our bird, Jenga.  I love history and have a particular fondness for the National Park system.  I've been to many of them.  You'll be sure to learn all about them with me this year!
